OKURA LTD is the data controller responsible for your personal data. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, including any requests to exercise your legal rights, please contact us by email at office@okurawellness.com.

We collect the information you give us when you join the waitlist, create an account, place an order or contact us: your name, contact details, delivery and billing details, order history and marketing preferences. We also collect limited technical and usage data through cookies (see our Cookie Policy). Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card details.

• To process and deliver your orders and provide customer support (to perform our contract with you). • To take payment, through our payment provider (to perform our contract). • To send marketing emails where you have asked us to (with your consent); you can unsubscribe at any time. We do not send marketing by SMS. • To operate, secure and improve the site, including analytics and advertising cookies (on the basis of your consent for non-essential cookies, and our legitimate interest in running the site). • To meet our legal and tax obligations.

We share personal data only with the providers who help us run the business: our fulfilment partner, our payment provider (Stripe), our email platform (Klaviyo), our advertising and measurement provider (Meta) and our cookie-consent provider (Cookiebot), and with authorities where the law requires. We do not sell your personal data.

Some of our providers are based outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to run the business and to meet legal and tax obligations (generally up to six years). We keep marketing data until you opt out.

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to the use of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any right, email us at office@okurawellness.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. We are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer or a Senior Responsible Individual, and have not done so; responsibility for data protection rests with OKURA LTD.
